It is sometimes said that the harp is ‘a composer’s dream’, with no limitations.  Well, the Dutch Harp Festival certainly found that out! No less than one hundred new compositions were submitted from all corners of the world. Tonight you are going to hear the three best compositions, combined with a number of the most important contemporary works in the repertoire for the harp. At the end, the jury will announce the winner, but the audience itself will choose which work definitely has to be added to the harp repertoire.
