Pleased to meet you! We’re the people that have been working on this second edition of the Dutch Harp Festival since autumn 2010.

Remy van Kesteren – Artistic Director
Remy has been the visionary behind the Dutch Harp Festival since its inception. He is responsible for the artistic and conceptual dimensions of the production: planning the contents of the festival and competition as well as booking the guest artists and creative partners. His work creating this festival closely ties in with his international career as a concert harpist.

Gert Wijnalda – Business Director
Gert has joined the board this year, stepping up from his role as advisor for the previous edition of the festival. As business director of the Dutch Harp Festival, he handles all the financial and legal aspects of the organization as well as working closely with artistic director Remy van Kesteren to expand the festival’s professional network. When he is not planning a harp festival, Gert is the managing director of the ICT companies RedAnt business solutions and Prometech security software.

Bram Vercammen – Festival Director
Bram is also a veteran member of the board of directors. Building on a background in industrial engineering, Bram owns the event production agency Ultimate Events, which makes him perfect for the job of festival director for the Dutch Harp Festival. Bram is in charge of all the behind-the-scenes production of the festival and of coordinating logistics.

Marit Eisses – Competition Director
Marit is also a new addition to the board of directors this year, though she is not new to the Dutch Harp Festival. During the first edition of the festival, she served as an assistant to the communication/secretarial department; this year she has taken over that role and added the task of coordinating the realization of the competition. In daily life, she is a costume historian at the Gemeentemuseum of The Hague.
